Starting a New Season with Excellence

Proverbs 3:6 (TLB) reminds us, “In everything you do, put God first, and he will direct you and crown your efforts.” As the school season approaches, with its classes and busy schedules, many of us find ourselves in the whirlwind of preparations, doing our best to be ready. Whether you're navigating new subjects, adjusting to a different routine, or stepping into an entirely new environment, it’s easy to get caught up in the logistics. Yet, there's one essential step that often gets overlooked, especially for those who follow Christ: inviting God into the process.

Taking time to pray, read the Word, and maintain a strong relationship with the Lord is key to shaping what the upcoming year will hold. When you prioritize Christ, you set the foundation for success—not just in your education, but in every area of your life. Even when challenges arise or stress sets in, trust that God will honor your effort and gratitude. He will provide you with the determination, strength, and patience to overcome difficult times. He'll supply resources and open doors when you face scarcity, offer wisdom and strategies for challenging areas, and ultimately, bring fulfillment in all your accomplishments.

So, whether you're beginning middle school, transitioning to high school, advancing in college, or embarking on a new career, remember that true excellence starts with putting God first in everything you do.
